When I purchased my first home in 1998, I had no idea what I was doing and wound up buying the first house I liked – regardless of price. Some time later I decided that I wanted to help people in the same situation – whether they were experienced with buying a home or not.
Today, I work with buyers and sellers from all walks of life and enjoy every bit of it. The opportunity I get to meet new people and help them through one of the largest financial transactions of their life is one I treasure.
I’ve thought and thought over the years about what the best way to show my clients my appreciation would be – and out of it came my rebate program. I’m offering to give 25% of my earnings as paid by the seller back to all of my clients after they close on their next home. This way, I know all of my clients have some money available to start up whatever project is needed and gives them a cushion in the event something goes wrong. As a more experienced homeowner, I know these things happen and it gives me some peace of mind to know that my clients are in the best position I can get them in.
